With over three decades of international and multinational experience as an innovative strategic business advisor in the development, construction, trading and service industries, Hugh has comprehensive hands-on expertise in the successful creation and brokering of transactions and facilitation of major local and international projects. He was previously Director of one of Australia's top 500 companies (with interests in more than 75 public and private companies) and Co-founder of nutraceutical companies in Australia and New Zealand. Hugh also spent two years developing a software management system for the thoroughbred racing industry, which was merged into the service arm of a global bank.
He has significant experience in the implementation and execution of projects in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region, including developing countries such as Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Cook Islands, Micronesia and surrounding South Pacific Island nations and their respective indigenous communities. Hugh is proud of his Te Atiawa heritage and is passionate about bringing together the clean, green, fresh, produce of New Zealand’s Iwi under the IWI brand and taking those products and the associated IWI LIFE nutraceutical range to global markets.
